ILYA MICHAEL RACHMAN, M.D., Ph.D.  INTERNAL MEDICINE

Dr. Rachman is board certified in internal medicine. He also holds a PhD in Neuroscience and Neuroendocrinology & Cell Biology.

An expert in the treatment of common diseases affecting adults such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, high cholesterol, and joint pain, Dr. Ilya Rachman specializes in weight loss and diabetes management. 

In addition to serving as medical director for the LA Healthcare Medical Group, Dr. Rachman is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the UCLA School of Medicine.

MARK BARATS, M.D.   INTERNAL MEDICINE / KIDNEY DISEASES

Dr.  Barats, MD, cofounder of the LA Healthcare Medical Group, is board certified in internal medicine and fellowship-trained in kidney disease. He specializes in the treatment of hypertension, kidney diseases, diabetes, and obesity. Currently, Dr. Barats is recognized as one of the US leaders in the field of hypertension and kidney diseases. In addition to his patient care duties and research interests, Dr. Barats serves as medical director of internal medicine and primary care for the LA Healthcare Medical Group.

In addition to his busy clinical practice, Dr. Barats has many clinical research interests including cardiology, endocrinology (particularly diabetes, thyroid disorders and obesity) musculoskeletal conditions related to chronic pain, neurology, and rheumatology.
