 Before I started OPTIFAST I was definitely overweight, 56 pounds overweight. And I perspired profusely. I was tired. I didn't want to go anywhere because of the way I looked and felt. And I knew something had to be done. There were three family members recently diagnosed with diabetes and I didn't want to be another statistic. I needed to be around to raise my young children. I saw a friend of mine from church that had been through the OPTIFAST program and she looked great. She told me about the program and I decided that if she can do it, I can do this.

Mike, 130 lbs and counting
 "Three years ago I was a single father taking care of my two children on my own. I was also at my all time high weight of 305 lbs. I had sleep apnea and I was using a CPAP machine at night.
